Well, as it so happens, I'm 53, too. And very happily married for 25 years.
Live and learn. I just thought that if she was "the one," I have so many contacts in that general area that I might could just try to arrange a "chance" meeting between the two of you.
But then, again, people move on and you can't really recreate a moment in time. I never try to force these things, but if I can facilitate a romantic interlude, I am very willing to do so.

I wasn’t lucky in love, but I do have a 26 year old daughter who is to be married in June to a fine young man....so I count my blessings.
