I'm just going by his recent remarks. He said explictly that "I'm not ready to go there yet." His supporters have consistently ignored that simple fact.
Well I certainly have not ignored it. It could be a problem, then on the other hand, he may have learned something.
In any case, he is far more conservative than many R’s that are in the race.
If you know of one more conservative, I’m interested in hearing just who.
I;m not ignoring it, I’m hoping that by the time he is a candidate, he WILL be ready to go there. Or at least go SOMEWHERE better than where he went before.
In the meantime Romney is another guy a lot of people don’t like but he at least sounds better on CFR. And with Mitt, if you elect him you will be praying that he lives up to what he said in his race, not that he doesn’t.
I know people don’t trust him, but I do.
