Only liberals talk about a "Hate Zones." Toleration doesn't include caving on fundamental issues such as abortion, end of life protections (e.g. Terri Schiavo), defending 2nd Amendment rights, opposing the homosexual agenda (e.g. marriage rights, adoptions, in your face "discrimination" policies, etc.).

You and your ilk think that practical politics necessarily cause "accommodation" for these and other issues.

We disagree and believe they are fundamental to our values, our beliefs, and yes, our politics. No we will not cave to candidates such as Giuliani or McCain on threats of, "Well you will elect Hillary Clinton then." No we won't. We won't elect Clinton IF we nominate someone who can stand for something other than a liberal platform.

Jim Robinson is correct to post this thread and cause reactions from those who should be positive on the Free Republic agenda. Those who don't like it, can lump it. And don't take offense, just leave if you don't like it. We don't hate you, or anybody. Maybe we just believe in something different -- God, patriotism, pro-life, gun ownership, freedom. We won't give in, compromise, or give up. We will fight for what we know is right, for our families, for our country.

Do you really mean to make it sound like those who don’t agree with you are NOT patriotic, don’t believe in God, etc?
