I read one post that said a bunch of evos were leaving FR and the guy pointed out that very few people noticed because they spent so much time on those threads and nowhere else that they didn’t contribute much to the conservative cause.
Allow me to put in my standard plug for Alamo Girl and Betty Boop and their book on crevo stuff. These 2 ladies are amazing freepers.

Announcing a New Book by Alamo-Girl and betty boop [Update at #329]
Thank you so very much for your encouragements and for mentioning our book!
They didn’t contribute much to the conservative cause anyway. You could count on them generally taking the liberal view on almost any non-evo thread, with the clear exception of gun control. They tended to very much favor big government and especially its control of the school system .
Hooray for Alamo-Girl and Betty Boop! Hip, hip, hoorah! Hear, hear (that’s for all you folks who spell it “here”)! Strike up the band! 76 Trombones led the big parade.......
My impression is that most of those people are Libertarian, which as you know is not the same thing as Conservative. They see themselves (I gather) as the "children of the Enlightenment"; many are very liberal on social issues (gay rights, abortion, infanticide, "death with dignity," etc., etc.).
And of course, a big part of the conventional Enlightenment schtick is the denigration of God and religious experience as illusionary. They prefer the model of a "clockwork universe" that has no need of God. When you suggest to these people that the federal Constitution has roots in Judeo-Christianity, they absolutely, vociferously deny it.
Still, I miss a whole lot of those people: They were great fun to argue with.
Thank you so much, Kevmo, for plugging our book! In all likelihood, it would not have been possible to write it without the "source material" that our dear departed Evo friends unstintingly provided on a daily basis when they were still here....
