I’d like to hear the answers to the two questions I posted. I believe that one can be conservative, and do what they can to promote the conservative cause, but I also believe that when the ballot box has a D and an R, I should not be insulted for choosing R, when I feel that is the best option.

I don’t know how cold a glacier is, but I do know you wouldn’t want your horse to be on one. Very dangerous for horsey and they can also be quite dangerous for humans too. ;)

I don't believe your should ever be insulted for your choice/your vote. Your vote is a prescious franchise that only you should control. However, I believe you would be challenged for any attempt to promote or justify such decision if the (R) in question was a liberal. Afterall, this is a conservative forum--a fact I think that has been made more than clear on this thread and others. JMHO
