That cuts both ways. A fair number of the banned would literally stalk eternal vigilance from thread to thread. Some of them personally attacked me as well.

I imagine they would be celebrating just as much if the shoe were on the other foot.

Was some of the rhetoric on this thread over the top? Sure it was. That's the nature of much of internet debate. Heck, have you ever seen the flame wars on the Wunderground blog forums? They make this thread seem tame, and that's just friggin' weather weenies, not politics.

If I inderstand your post correctly, the vile behavior we have witnessed over the past week is justifiable retribution, and also to be expected in this forum because that is the norm elsewhere.
