Some people do take things personally, particularly when they are called vulgar names. Some people are funny that way.
MM, have you read about some of the antics at CP? I've heard they literally worked to try and get some of their "enemies" fired from their jobs.

Other folks literally see other posters and factions as enemies to be defeated, instead of just letting the occasional flame war run off their backs like most folks here. That factionalizing is taking it too far and leads to events like we've seen over the last couple of weeks.
