My sister used to have a little saying that I thought was very cute....and, if you knew her, fitting:
“I’m nice ‘til I’m not.”

I guess we all have a bit of the “‘til I’m not”” in us but in the last number of months I saw more and more of the “I’m not” going on here and I have been here since 2001.
