There may be other cases that fit your particular situation, but they aren’t strong enough to overcome the gravitational momentum you build up when you start dancing on such a highwire.

There have been plenty of trolls deservedly zotted over the years here, and some of those are probably included in those who got the axe during the last couple of days, since this fratricide is the perfect opportunity for provocateurs to make even more trouble. But, as I’ve said, I think most who are gone were just good conservatives who made the mistake of supporting the front running Republican candidate.
I gather that the majority of those who are gone, left of their own accord. I doubt that any of those were Democrat moles, I think they were all good conservatives.
