I read through the DC thread. Pretty much reminds me of the threads on CU that depict DU (I find those CU threads a conduit to liberal bastions for amusement) in some ways and like any other FR thread in others. They bicker, ban people, get sidetracked, have puerile convictions with no wriggle room, and such. A bit of hypocrisy. Too bad some people cheer for failure with malice and hatred over there, but to each his own. Some of these posters are scorned and feel resentment or something I suppose.

The mods are trying to create some semblance of rally with occasional “welcomes” and “here is where to go” kind of stuff for interlopers. It is a busy thread and it has its own conspiracy nuts - good grief someone posited that Alan Keyes bought FR, Jim Robinson is not Jim Robinson, and EV is in charge of FR. LMAO.

Such is the internet.

I think I am a member there (no posts or a few), probably no longer now that I posted this. I was welcomed there in freepmail way back and I am sure there a lot of good people there, but some on that thread giddy about another sites fate is peculiar to me at best. Unrequited love perhaps.

But those at DC, believe me, FR will become stronger than ever representing the conservative wing of the GOP - united.

Yeah, I got a kick out of that one too! LOL!

Hey EV, the moonbats over at DC say you’re in charge here. How come we didn’t get the memo? LOL!
