In the 13,277 posts I’ve read so far, I didn’t even get the slightest hint of that feeling, and I have a good sniffer.
I just have to elaborate on a point. People have the fear, as I do, the fear of another 1996 election, Bob Dole VS. Clinton. Bob Dole good or bad didn’t deserve that nomination. I have that fear. Now you know what my comparison? We need to win. We just lost the mid term elections on principals of some republicans. Regardless of the Candidate. If we lose, what do I say to my cousin who has served in Iraq 2 tours and may be going on his 3rd in October? He had the duty of taking coffins home. What do I say? When they cut the funds off because a liberal in the White House won’t veto it?
