I’ve never known Alan Keyes to “set up a website.” You’re being dishonest.

Did somebody set up a website in his name? Did somebody go to jail?

This is one more example of a long-time tactic of Keyes-bashers online. It’s okay for every organization under the sun, including the RNC and every RINO in the country, to raise money. But let Keyes do it, to keep his operations and his cause going, and hooboy! What garbage.

If the headline tomorrow is, "Bush bombs Iran," are you going to claim that it's 'dishonest' unless Bush himself flew the plane? The kind of Clintonian parsing you're engaging in here makes you look like some flat-footed clown.

Of course. It was MPL, who is (or at least was at the time) authorized to do such things in Keyes' name. Please do not play the game of pretending that you do not know who "MPL" is. Anyone who has been anywhere near the Keyes organization knows who MPL is. Also do not pretend that I'm saying that MPL herself wrote a bunch of PHP code and ftp'd it onto a web server. No more Clintonian parsing, OK? As the lawyers would say, the Keyes organization "built, or caused to be built," a web site purporting to aid the Gray Davis impeachment effort.
