Reagan made a mistake by not going after those responsible.
And I do not believe that you thought at the time that we should let it go. Sorry. Anyone who supports our current war on terror could never have been so eager to let those people get away with the murder of 241 sleeping soldiers.
As for Somalia, Clinton should have authorized the support that was needed for the operations being asked of the commanders.
That being said, I did not at the time of our arrival in Somalia believe we should have been there at all. But we should have cleaned out the hornets nest after the incident.

When you refuse to accept my own description of my own personal thoughts as a soldier at the time of that attack that took place when you were about 12, then that just doesn’t leave me much to work with. This takes being a “know it all” to a whole new level.

I do believe that your post does reveal how you could be so against President Reagan and so for Giuliani though, and still claim that you are conservative.
