He had the opportunity to appoint over 60 judges as Mayor. Almost none of them were Republicans, not even leftist Republicans like Rooty.
I think he will honor the promise he is making to the GOP. He will appoint conservative judges.
Overall, Rudy was a great mayor and leader.
Reagan was a great president. But if I am not mistaken the national debt exploded under his leadership. He should have obliterated Hezbollah after the 1983 attack on our marines in Beirut, instead of leaving without retaliation. No one is perfect.
