Muddy hot water? You're being too kind. With most of the disgruntled FReepers offshoot websites, it's more than just water.
I was being polite, actually....
The interesting thing too is I know enough about the technology being employed here to know that no-one can compete with FreeRepublic on a technical level, period! The offshoots are running open source garbage scripts and are 20 to 50 users from servers crashing, not to mention the impossible navigation, etc., etc.. And no money thrown at the code will get them to where FR is and will always be, and that’s on top. Just another reason why I finally had to take the plunge and sign up.
I guess that might have been a rant, but a good rant.
