Villere Statement on Boasso’s Switch Back to Democratic Party

Roger F. Villere, Jr., Chairman of the Republican Party of Louisiana, today issued the following statement regarding Senator Walter Boasso’s decision to return to the Democratic Party:
“Some politicians switch parties because of philosophy and principle. Walter has made it clear that he is just the opposite. He’s switching because he hasn’t been successful as a Republican candidate.”
