Ah, salmon!

But ah, Blue Crabs, too....

One of my best memories is going out with my hubby and kids on a fishing charter. Half the people got seasick, youngest son included. But oldest son caught about the biggest chinook taken that day.

I made sure I took my dramamine. Next time, I’ll bring some ginger beer, too. Then those fishes better watch out!

I never go on a charter without taking a dose of dramamine first. I’ve seen others suffer horribly. They say that one should also keep their eye on the skyline rather than looking down into the waves in rough water. Makes sense to me.

One year, off the coast of Oregon, we were on a charter and the waves got so bad we had to turn back. A friend of mine was using the toilet on the boat and I was standing in front of the curtain that provided the privacy factor, and every now and then she’d come flying out and I’d be there to push her back. LOL
