This thread is moving so fast it is hard to keep up but I do have one question because I haven't seen an answer yet (although I may have missed it). I have seen several posts regarding the forum's leadership not supporting Bush in 2001 and have personally witnessed the flaming/banning on anyone not supporting Bush after he was elected.

So, the question that has been asked is "considering the 180 that was done by forum leadership with Bush in 2001, would that same 180 be done with Rudy if he is elected?"

I'm not raising this point as means of supporting Rudy (because I don't) but I think the members of FR need to know how to tread going forward when posting their opinions.

IMO...Apparently the owner didn’t think that Bush was conservative “enough”. (Miers, borders, CFR, spending seem to confirm that btw) But I think most would have put Bush in the moderate/conservative area with his “passionate conservatism”.

Giuliani on the other hand is no where close to being a moderate, he is liberal on a littany of areas. I honestly believe Giuliani will not win the nomination and it won’t even be close. But if he did win my impression (just an opinion) is that the owner will not join with Giuliani and liberalism. My hope is that the GOP comes to there senses and gets off the bandwagon that takes us over a cliff to being a plus size Democrat Party. I think that 3rd Parties could gain more attention if this happens but I think ultimately this site will include primarily Republicans and that is the large foundation of the conservative movement. Having said that, Giuliani being head of the Party for 4 years would obviously see many, as I would see myself, as part of the loyal opposition. Whether I stay in the Party or leave, I’ll still attend local GOP meetings to work for conservatism.
