“I tell ya what, Republicans had better agree to disagree on a few issues and stop these flame wars or they are going to hand the Democrats...”

It’s very early in the primary season. It’s too early to agree to disagree. It will be an important primary and then an important general...I like 2 candidates in the field, but my hopes are with Fred Thompson. He is conservative and can pull in the other factions of the Party. This is normal for all of this stuff to play out. Friends and online buddies are going to disagree and choose sides.

I agree that it's "very early" in the primary season. If you read my tagline, you'll see that I have also become very interested in Fred Thompson. He hasn't announced his candidacy yet, but I'm hoping he will. However, IF Giuliani actually wins the primaries and becomes the chosen Republican candidate, what are those here who are trying to destroy him going to do then? Not vote? Vote for a Dem or third party? As someone who was a military mom, whose son has fought in Iraq, I find that totally unacceptable. I'd rather have Giuliani than Hillary if it comes to that. God help us, we've just got to calm down here.
