I haven't. Don't tell me I'm not a "real" conservative.
I'm old enough to have voted for Reagan for President twice and I did. Proudly. (And not in the same election, either). Reagan, btw, was the only person I've ever voted for for President. All the other times, I was voting against.
I may have to do that again in the upcoming election.
But I will not break Reagan's 11th commandment.
That's funny, because Ronald Reagan did to the maximum. He ran against an incumbent Republican President of the United States.
You mean the same Reagan who was the ONLY Republican in modern times to challenge a sitting Republican president for the GOP nomination because he knew that the president was too liberal?
You got anything bad to say about Giuliani’s long record of opposition to the first [and real] Ten Commandments? Or would that be a violation of your commitment to the mythical Eleventh one?
” Don’t tell me I’m not a “real” conservative.”
“I’m old enough to have voted for Reagan for President twice and I did.”
I’m old enough to remember that time from almost a quarter century ago.
Those were heady days and Reagan won many new converts, many of those converts have drifted away over the decades.
