jedward, I thought of the hairdryer, but was afraid to do it.

I've killed quite a few keyboards. If it was straight coffee (no sugar, no cream), you should be okay. A hairdryer on cool should help. But there is a layer of plastic film on the whole base of the keyboard so you shouldn't use (hot)heat on it. Or... you could just let it dry on it's own.

In my case, I dumped a mocha latte. There wasn't much hope. I tried rinsing it out (even dunked the darn thing in the bathtub as a last resort, lol. Now I keep a couple keyboards handy as backup. :-)

I dumped a whole brand new cup of Starbucks black on my boss’s keyboard one day.

We unplugged it, turned it upside down so the *sniff* coffee could drain out.

The darn thing DID work after that...not till you mentioned coffee did I remember that stupid episode. It sure smelled like coffee for weeks after....
