Lost a few good ones, but FR can’t be liberal Rudy’s “campaign central”. After reading much of this thread I still don’t know what they were thinking.
The shame of these threads is you get the disruptors and the haughty but not the cowardly trolls like “areafiftyone” who go around instigating and manipulating, and run away.
Emotional cripples or paid trolls, they cause a lot of this sort of trouble. Though I have no sympathy for old timers who let themselves be manipulated.

Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party? I like to hear you speak like this. I couldn't agree more.

Greetings Jim Robinson:
Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
No.
Next question?

Bookmarked to post 3000. And I only read the “Find - Jim Robinson” posts. Got to clear out a few more hours in my calendar for the rest of the thread! Thank you for your clarity, Jim!

This is my first time seeing this thread. Jim, please keep fighting against the socialistic quagmire this country is heading for. Without people like you providing people like me with a means to get our voice out through vehicles like FR, we may not continue to have the Republic our Founding Fathers gave to us.

Jim, this thread is your Normandy invasion. I would list it as one of the top ten threads ever posted on FR.

America does not have a tradition of Socialism, or of Liberalism for that matter. The Euros do, but that’s a different problem. Tradition counts. When the chips are down tradition is all that counts. No, neither America nor FR is going to buy Socialism as a solution to anything.

"Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage,"A glaring case in point: The UK conservative Tory Party. The Tory leader, David Cameron, ordered up a new party logo and made it "green" on purpose.
The once substantial lead the Tories held to overturn the Blair socialist/liberal Labor Party majority is now down the tubes. Labor, which forced Toni Blair to turn over party control early because he was so unpopular, is now considering "snap elections" and doubling their parliamentary majority.
The Tory leadership sold out to socialist programs.
Perhaps MadIvan was right to leave.
