“He used public money to pay 6 $100K+ a year bodyguards to drive his mistress to the beauty parlor.” Yeah, but did she LOOK good?

“Are you of the position that once a female is pregnant, all choice regarding that pregnancy is off limits and it must be carried to term as it is. Even in the event of a technological advance that sees no loss of life?”

YES!

It was her CHOICE to play around and become pregnant and it’s her RESPONSIBILITY to make sure the life she started is taken care of.

NOT someone else.

“Much is said to me on this thread about being truthful. I am very much doing that very thing. You should join me.”

I’ve said it repeatedly in my posts where I stand.

You just refuse to listen because you think your nonsense is ‘sensible’.

It’s NOT!

I agree
and where does he think he will find several million women a year to undergo a surgical procedure to transfer a pregnancy to them (which I doubt will ever be possible) just so the biological “mother” can be free of consequences and go play some more?

“don’t have any real objection to bad language “
I like to warn people if they have not seen it. I know many people here do not care for bad language. The messages of SP sometimes get lost because of that bad language.

>> Brave New World was meant as a warning, not as a guide for a better life in the future.

There was a kind of a better-living-through-chemistry tone to it :-) :-)

"..there is always soma, delicious soma, half a gramme for a half-holiday, a gramme for a week-end, two grammes for a trip to the gorgeous East, three for a dark eternity on the moon..."

Especially since the person who supplied most of the “Swift Boating” of Kerry here at FR (my own humble self) was soon banned by him after my work was co-opted by others here.

You're a sociopath.

Exactly.

He/she is trying to find a way to absolve all responsibility of the mother by giving her an ‘out’ for her actions.

Hey. Maybe I can go to the bank and say “I know I committed to the loan for my car, but could you ,just this one (really) let someone else pay for it?”

I’m sure that would go over really well.

Responsibility doesn’t stop at the end of the pregnancy.

It starts at the beginning.

Why is my position not pro life and liberty? I don’t understand that when it is said to me. My positions are all about life and liberty for everyone and that includes the unborn.

Indeed, I seek to find a ways that life and liberty for all can be observed, preserved, respected and cherished. Is that not the goal of this site? I sure thought it was.

I mean you or this site no disrespect. Though, much sure comes my way. Like people claiming I am pro abortion when my position is actually one that wants to find a way to see it be a thing of the past. If that position is unwelcomed then I guess I will have the hammer dropped on me too.

I don’t think I seek a different outcome than most all people opposed to abortion, I just hold a differing position about how to get there. But hey, as a Duncan Hunter supporter, if I am deemed unwelcome here because of that, then I can do nothing about that. Though, I don’t think DU would welcome me in the least bit.

Sir, I am not pro death nor am I pro abortion. You have been mislead by others if you get the impression that I am either. I cannot be any more clear when I say this: “I want the days of deaths of the unborn, due to abortion, to come to an end”.

Good morning Spiff.

Of course my hate for the Clintons is pathological. And, I've learned a lot in here lately about Rudy...and sincerely hope Fred Thompson declares.

Luke referred to me as a 'liberal freeper' because on my profile page I admit to having a soft spot for illegal immigrants whose ONLY sin is sneaking into the country to build a better life.

Because I have no firsthand experience or knowledge of the terrible conditions and crime rate of the border towns and some sanctuary cities, I tend to judge the situation the way it affects my immediate geographic service area.

Even though I hail from The Peoples Republic of Maryland, we've absorbed the illegal immigrant without even an once of pain. Our local ecnomy has thrived and social services don't seem to be strained as a result...so far.

In summary, just because I support a fast track to citizenship for illegals that have put down roots, jobs, businesses, homes, leases, etc., that doesn't make me a liberal. As a businessman, I can readily see the negative domino effect that would occur if all were rounded up and deported. The result would be devastating...thus I can understand Bloomberg's assertion that NYC would go into a depression if the illegal disappeared tomorrow.

That's the reality of it....not simply a possibility.

Cheers!

several people have pointed out obvious flaws with your “plan”
but you don’t answer, just send a whining message to the owner of this site about how persecuted you are when people don’t by your nonsense.

Well, I made it back before post 8700 and am all caught up. Now, I’m off to shower before going to work out. Yes, I know it’s strange to shower before working out but it wakes me up and gets me going.

See you sometime later in the thread.
