More than that, would my front-runner, Duncan Hunter want this type of anti-Rudy tactic to aid his campaign? Would any respectable and worthy conservative candidate WANT to benefit from this? That is my question, and I hope the answer would be NO.
***Duncan Hunter is my candidate as well, and my guess is he will accept whatever apples fall into his yard at this point from the result of this storm. Of course he doesn’t WANT this kind of internecine strife. Keep in mind that it is his grassroots candidacy that probably got hit the hardest by solibs bullying socons promoting a socon candidate on this socon website, and others might not have felt free to jump in the water as a result. We lost the normal kind of traction you would expect from a group of like-minded activists.

It is remarkable, not to mention bizarre, how this has morphed from an anti-Giuliani thread into a Keyes cheerleading thread. Especially considering that Keyes is all but a forgotten name in politics after his 70 - 27 obliteration in the 2004 Illinois Senate race.

The obvious question -- is Mr. Keyes planning another fundraising, ah, election campaign in the near future?

And do you envision FR playing a role in such a campaign?

You should be WORRIED, not fearful or suspicious that thoughtful FReepers like Lando Lincoln are spending their time at WideAwakes, and think about what has caused that to happen. We shouldn’t be chasing away thoughtful posters.

I don't know. Why do you want to vote for him. I just can't understand people like you supporting him right now when it is this early in the game and we have better men to choose from. I'm hoping that Fred Thompson will announce soon. I would suggest keeping an open mind.

You didn’t answer my question. It was a legitimate question that you chose to ignore. If you are so concerned about the tone of the debate between the Rudybots and the Rudynots then where is your sense of fairness? Your bias is showing when you simply admonish one side and not the other. Since you are a member of both forums you should be sharing the same message to both sides.

BTW, you also chose to not answer previous posters questions to you about who you are supporting. I think your true colors are beginning to show. Either be fair, and demand both sides tone things down, or admit that you are a Rudybot and only want to silence the anti-Rudy forces. You have an opportunity to do the right thing. I am a member at Wideawakes. Yes, I am. I also have been a strong contributor to this site for years. I'm not sure how rich that is, but I want this site to reman a powerful voice in conservative politics. That is why I am expresing my concerns. ***One of the banned was Fierce Allegiance, and that cannot be said about him. What I heard is that he got pushed around by some rudybots to the point that he lost his composure.
