That's ridiculous. You've used the words of someone who is entirely opposed to your point of view to advance your ideas. Be more careful:
he probably meant...
There's much, too much of that around here lately.

-—Good catholics who practice birth control. Divorced ones that still go to church and give up sweets for Lent.-—
These aren’t particularly good behaviors. You just told me I have to be a person who commits mortal sin to be a republican.
Think about what you say before you say it.

:-) That guy can give a good one.

We're looking for religious right members that could...IF HE BECOMES THE NOMINEE...hold their noses and vote for him rather than allow a Clinton to run this nation again. Who is "we"?

I just saw the quote, it said what I thought was good. I don’t know him from a hole in the ground. Even a stopped clock is right once or twice a day.

"When engaged in a war, particularly a war forced upon you by those who will not stop their acts of terrorism or aggression, peace cannot be the objective of your war. Peace is a secondary objective that will hopefully be produced as the byproduct of achieving that which must in such a war be your main objective, and that is to defeat the enemy." Mr. Keyes is exactly right about that.

In the old days, you couldnt call another FReeper a b@#@h and get away with it.
I don't know...I've been lurking here for quite a few years, and I have always viewed it as an often merciless place to post. Certainly not a place for the timid or thin skinned.

All this Keyes’s stuff is driving the DC posters crazy. Some are convinced that Keyes bought this site and that you are in charge while Keyes prepares to announce a run for the presidency.

In the old days, you couldnt call another FReeper a b@#@h and get away with it. Things have changed. I sensed a subtle shift during the Terri wars, but the minute I saw a post from someone claiming to be the owner calling someone "asswipe" it became totally clear what this place has turned into.
To: floriduh voter
It's hard to describe the Shiavo threads and what some FReepers were saying about the situation. It was stomach turning.
That little ex probate judge, greer, wielded more power than our senators.
and we held a protest at Judge Greer's first award banquet for killing Terri.
Stuff that should never be forgotten:
It won't be forgotten by me.
Bless you for what you did.

"Where's the sarcasm tag? Have you read what they've said and done? I know it's a huge thread but please read first. It's hugh and series." Can you point me to one or two instances of that? I did read back in the thread 'til I got tired of it and found instances of people getting zotted who were arguing a lot more politely than the other side. Doesn't mean that everyone who left didn't deserve it, but I have yet to see any who were really trolls or "liberals."

Nah the conspiracy nuts from over at Gulag Darwin were bringing Keyes up - apparently the “purple socks in gym class” kids thing he bought FR and is the puppetmaster.

Are you talking about her responses to the personal attacks she endured on this thread? Howlin fought fire with fire.
She always started it. It was her way of avoiding serious debate, which she would have lost.
