You are missing the fact that, this isn't any of our business. If Kim Bassinger thought for one minute this was actual criminal conduct, she would have gone to the police, not the TV station.

Yes, Baldwin scarred his daughter with this horrible behavior, but the effect of this being broadcast scarred the both of these people 1000 times more. Just think what it would be like to have your father publicly humiliated because you were irresponsible.

You can push it away, but there it is on every radio station and tv every one of those horrible words repeated again and again and again. Tell me this is right by any stretch of the imagination.

The press used to pass on this, but the world of the National Enquirer has become the standard for all news.

Sure. Blame the daughter for her father’s humiliation. It is his fault, and ONLY his fault. And how do you think she feels hearing him ridiculing her on national TV, more than once?

If that is the case, why are you reading this thread?

The press has never ignored sensational custody battles. Apparently you aren’t a student of history. Did you read the press accounts of the Gloria Vanderbilt custody case? It was EXTREMELY sensationalistic with the taint of lesbianism used against her mother. That was in 1934 and it was dubbed “The trial of the Century.”
