My Dad was in ill health through most of my 6 year marriage but I’ll never forget in his younger days, when my oldest sister was being abused by her alcoholic husband, he took several of the brothers and I believe he carried an axe over to the apartment but my brother-in-law got away out the back door. My brother-in-law stopped drinking and is still married to my sister for over 35 years. I’ll never forget him weeping at my Dad’s bedside as he passed away.
I don’t know what I said to him, but he said, I loved him too ya know. That said it all.
So many of these angry men, had angry Fathers.
Your BIL seemed to respond to appropriate, loving
correction from your Father, which was a repre-
sentation of our Heavenly Father.
God chastens those He loves.
