A) If they hadn’t been going so fast, the accident likely would not have occurred.

B) If Corzine had been wearing his seatbelt, as STATE LAW requires, he wouldn’t have been hurt as badly as he was.

C) Since A & B are relevant to the issue, people will talk about them.

And don’t forget that there was a state trooper driving that would give us mere mortals a ticket if we weren’t wearing our seat belts. I wonder if he has been ticketed yet.

(D) Corzine was speeding toward his gleeful destination, which was to watch Don Imus shuck and grovel toward the Rutgers female whatever team. Caution was thrown to the winds (”I’m gonna watch a white guy beg for mercy!! Yeearghhh!!!”)
