What a great example of just how out of touch politicians, at all levels but the higher the more out of touch, are with the ‘little’ people who pay speeding fines and fines for not wearing their seat belt every day court’s in session.

People like this guy should be given a one-way ticket back to The Land of the Little People where they can learn what it’s like to have to obey laws.

And people like the governor get so accustomed to feeling they are not subject to man-made laws that after a while they begin to feel the same way about the laws of nature. Driving way too fast and not wearing a seat belt in an accident at that speed are laws of physics and you disregard them at your own peril.

Let me repeat for emphasis, what a great example of just how out of touch politicians are with the real world.

“I am a little confused and baffled...”

Then you’re the PERFECT guy to be acting governor of New Jersey! Most NJ politicians are more than a LITTLE confused and baffled.

I wonder what Corzine’s medical bills are going to be after this is over? You can be sure every penny is going to be paid by the overburdened taxpayers of the PRNJ. All this could have been saved if these idiots had acted responsibly. Mr. Codey, you can just STFU.

All these critics have been financed by big seat belt.

Let’s see. What are the germane facts in investigating the accident? Oh, yes.

I hope he gets better, then is taken out and publicly given 50 lashes with a cane. Same goes any anyone who drives 90 miles per hour on a public road.

More people know the public service phrase “seatbelts save lives” than probably know who is Vice President. They also know the stats on what happens if you don’t buckle up...and this acting Gov. wonders why people are focused on it?

He must have gone to a NJ public school.

If Corzine or the trooper were you and me, the police would be handing us a reckless driving ticket in the intensive care room.

He’s confused and baffled, because the public notices that his governor lives above the law - driving down the highway at a dangerous speed and endangering the lives of others? Neither he nor his governor deserve the political positions they have. Both should resign immediately.

sure, let’s go back and blame the driver of the “evil red pickup truck” that the story revolved around the first day.

"I am a little confused and baffled by all the talk about no seatbelt and how fast, when someone is in such grave condition that we would focus on that, both by the public and the media," Codey said...

Corzine's people said he would be out of the hospital and back on the job by Monday. How should we focus on his grave condition when we are constantly being told that 'tis but a flesh wound?

LOL! dems... No sense of responsibility. Don't focus on what what we did to screw up.

If they weren't flying down the road like they owned it, lights flashing, scaring people out of the way, they never would have had this problem.

Seems the NJ State PD clowns were flying through VA after Katrina at around 100MPH, and _itched when the VA sheriff gave 'em all tickets.
