They should just realize that even if they get their way, they are going to need RINOs too if they hope to win... so let's not be too nasty or hard on those who like Rudy. He gave a hell of a speech at the 2004 convention for Dubya and on issues like the War on Terror he's a far sight better than ANYONE the donks are going to put up. I'm not a Rudy supporter but I'll hold my nose if I have to.
Backing Rudy around FR is viewed by most FReepers as betraying conservatism. Selling out your principles. I don't think Rudy or his supporters will ever be given the benefit of the doubt by most Freepers for that matter and rightly so.

Aside from his low key public display immediately following the 9-11 attacks, I've never been impressed by Rudy Giuliani. Obviously many people are impressed. I think once conservative folks get to know Rudy`s lifetime record of supporting liberal issues and liberal causes, they'll quickly backoff supporting him.
Rudy is the wrong man for the job of POTUS.
