Are you on crack?? McCain AUTHORED CFR! And Giulani would have backed it wholeheartedly. At least Thompson has backed away from it. Besides, CFR will be moot shortly, no one is going to follow it, the money always squirts around the sides.

- He fought McCain on the more bad parts of the bill

- He later conceded that it didn't turn out as intended and should be scrapped or modified

- Bush should have vetoed it anyway

- Giuliani supports it in its entirety

Has has since said it (his vote) was a mistake. He is for, a way to get big special interest money, out of the political process, which we all know, has a corrupting influence, but CFR was bad law.

I'll take a guy that flat out owns up to his mistakes, rather than one trying to dance around them.
