If they wanted it on c-span 1, Pelosi should have simply not scheduled other house activity today. When the house is in session, c-span 1 covers it, that’s the charter. When the senate is in session while the house is in session, c-span 2 covers it, unless it’s clear they are spending all day doing quorum calls and there’s an exciting hearing somewhere.

I’m mad at my cable company. A few months ago they raised our rates 2 bucks because they had to pick up liberal lawyer Peter Angelos’s sports network in order to show Nationals games. That even though half the time his cable is showing “classic” orioles games, or a simulcast of ESPN-news which we have on a digital channel. But his “MASM” channel gets one of the non-digital lines where my normal TV works.

Well NOW they have picked up his SECOND channel (MASM-2) which has even LESS useful crap, which has bumped my CSPAN-2 up to the “digitial” range which means I won’t get it without paying for digital (which I’m about to drop).

Worse, their digital is getting overloaded with all the people they are signing up for “fast internet”, so I wasn’t able to stand watching the V-Tech convocation replay because every 20 seconds the digital had to re-sync.

And just to add insult to injury, at the same time I couldn’t watch c-span 2 because of where they had bumped it, BOTH MASM-1 and MASM-2 were doing a simulcast of the ESPN-NEWS channel.

Yep, 2 bucks extra for baseball teams I don’t want to see, showing my the same stuff I’m alreading ignoring on another channel.

We need per-channel choices. I don’t care if I pay the same, just so my money doesn’t end up in the pocket of Peter Angelos.
