The only legislation that will come of this will be tougher reporting and checking for mental health disqualification. Of course, someone who checks in to a facility feeling depressed should not be denied the right to self-defense, but might need to get a doctor to sign off before getting off the do-not-sell-list.

Of course, under Rudy or Hillary, they will define us “gun-nuts” as mentally ill, so they can stop us or anyone from buying a gun (remember Catch-22?)

Well, that will mean that people will resist to the very end, getting any help and being perceived that way — if it can have “consequences”...

And thus, this will introduce the “law of unintended consequences”.
