Why call Kleebold a martyr instead of ‘hero’?

Here’s the interesting thing about using the term martyr in referring to Columbine. After Columbine, everybody referred to the Christian girl who died as a martyr, a Christian martyr. I think there were even books written about her that used that exact term in the title. Nobody referred to the gunmen as martyrs.

I don’t know. Why? Is it your supposition that Kleebold is somehow an Islamic martyr? Please give it a freaking rest.

He used Kleebold and the other guy, the same way that he used Jesus as being a martyr and himself.
