That wouldn’t be too surprising because Koreans write their names backward from the way we do it. So the A could still stand for Ax. Just one place he wrote it English style A. Ishmael, the other place he wrote it Korean style Ismail Ax (of course the spelling of Ishmael is different.)

We need to decide on what the address really says, then stay with that spelling. I say it’s “iel”. Anybody read it differently?

Hi, trying to post this, as I may be the first to make this connection: Ishmael is the name of a book by Daniel Quinn, a weird tale narrated by a Gorilla consisting of a literate rant against present-day civilization. Can this be the reference made by Cho?
