If he snail-mailed a package Monday morning, MSLSD probably didn’t get it until this morning. At that point, the proper thing to do is contact the authorities and turn it over to them. I wouldn’t assume some sort of ratings conspiracy on their part...if this nutbar mailed them some sort of screed and a videotape or CD, it’d probably take it two days to get from Blacksburg up to New Jersey and navigate its way through the mailroom maze.

Norris Hall was an engineering building, and engineering/science majors have a higher proportion of foreign—mostly Indian/Asian—students than liberal arts majors. (Although one of the four classrooms he shot up was holding a German class.)
