So this will be used to blame us "social" conservatives when the RINO's loose in 2008. Got it.

I don't care what the RINO's do. BTW, who exactly is not a RINO? I can't name any prominent elected republican that is fiscal conservative and in favor of a limited government.

The fact remains that the GOP gets out the message that overturning Roe is its #1 priority and it is in their grasp then the women voters in this country will give the GOP a severe beating in 2008.

And running a pro choice candidate will insure a DNC victory. Many keep voting for the GOP only because of small things like this. In most areas, hate to say, the GOP is as bad as the DNC.

Right now, the GOP stands for very little.

overturning Roe has nothing to do with whether abortion (first trimester for adult women) is legal or not - it simply hands the issue back to the States. You are correct that the issue requires careful explanation however, because the left will use the scare tactic that tossing Roe means abortion is instantly illegal, everywhere - which of course is not true.
