AZ post 11: VP's cannot be impeached.

AZ post 31: What I did not say very clearly is a VP cannot be impeached and removed without a conviction, treason, bribery and other high crimes. Cheney hasn’t been convicted of nothing.

Sorry but the second is not explanatory of the first. Post 11 was a blanket statement that VP's cannot be impeached.

Post 31 is entirely contradictory to post 11. Post 31 says that a VP cannot be impeached and removed from office without a subsequent conviction... yada yada yada.

The impeachment process comes before any conviction. Clinton was impeached. He was not removed from office because the senate refused to vote to convict and remove from office. But he was impeached nonetheless>

Post 11 cannot be cleared up by post 31. Post 11 stands alone and post 11 is simply not true.
