I agree..if he made the call an hour earlier, why does that matter?? I’m afraid I’m not seeing why he’s innocent..

I thought the same thing until I realized the quoted article in the original post was poorly written. What it left out is the supposed fact that Mr. Webb did call the school an hour earlier after chatting with his girlfriend to see what the hotline would say about delays the following day. He was disconnected after the recording said there were no delays. An hour later, someone else called with a blocked number and made the threat. Mr. Webb’s cell phone records back up his claim.
Here are my questions... What the heck is a 12 y.o. doing on his cell phone talking to a girlfriend at 2 AM??? Hello? Parents????
This is poorly written, but making some assumptions it sounds as if they went over their caller id logs and retrieved the number that had called at 3:17pm when the bomb threat call was actually another hour further down the list.
Heads should roll. You don’t jail someone for 2 weeks before checking the evidence.
