Fortunately the Virginia state legislature forbade firearms on campi.
And the tenured professors were "concerned".
Everything for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
A couple of questions. . .
How did this guy pass the exams needed to be accepted into this university, or for that matter, to have graduated from high school?
Did the school counselors make any inquiries into his relationship with his family and conditions at home. These are not normal “musings” a son would have concerning his parents.
This killer’s writings do not sound like Stephen King or an attempt to write a “triller”. Stephen King has a “moral center” that manages to surface in most of his work or commentaries. Most authors do.
This guy’s writings are horrible windows into a sick mind. To read it makes you ill.
