Grade 8? Try Grade 2, granted a Grade 2 who has been exposed to some highly inappropriate stuff, but omg. I’m actually in pain reading this its so terrible.

They should have done more than send him to counseling. This “play” looks more like something written by an 8th grader than a Junior English major. If that is the best a 23 year old English major can do, perhaps his parents can get a partial refund from the English department.
