I find it curious that some networks are saying the shooter's first name is Cho, while other networks are saying Cho is the last name -- which is it?
The receipt in the backpack gives rise to another question -- can you purchase a gun with the serial numbers already removed and if so, why would you want a receipt?

His last name (family name) is Cho. All Korean last names are one syllable. He is often reported as Cho Seung-Hui because in Korea (and the rest of East Asia), the last name is written first. For instance, Kim Jung-il's last name is Kim.
