You are taking allot of heat for posting this. As I said in an earlier post, scapegoating is despicable. But still, maybe your critics could agree that the next time kids are found murdered in a dorm room at 07:00, perhaps the college should make an all out effort to publicize it.

In an effort to learn from the past, not hang the VA security people: consider if that had been done. Students may have been more vigilant, some may have chosen to pack, even though it was "against the rules, and some may have chosen to stay home.

All one can do in these situations is learn from them.

The officers of that campus and law enforcment of that campus will probably turn out to be the most vigilant in the country. People learn from these events. This could have happened in any public school in the country.
