the first time, i saw the gun pointed at us... hit the floor behind the counter... crawled out the back door... and i don't remember doing it... the second time i was in the chair getting my hair done... the guy came in... pulled out his gun... went to the cash register... as he was trying to open it, i got out of my chair and ran out the door to the 7-11 across the way... it was scary both times!
I'll bet you weren't thinking or planning at all! I think most untrained (meaning not military, police, etc) people just react. I'd like to think I'd be brave, but maybe I'd stand there, wetting myself, and allow someone to just shoot me.
