Yes, 2 bomb threats...one was on April 2, I believe. The other last week.
Yeah, the most recent was just this past Friday (only 72 hours ago).

BLACKSBURG, Va., April 13, 2007 -- (6:15 p.m. EDT) Virginia Tech is offering a $5,000 reward related to the two recent bomb threats on campus.
The reward will be given for information or leads leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in either bomb threat incidents occurring April 2 or April 13.
Information should be directed to Virginia Tech Police at 232-TIPP (8477).
Virginia Tech Police, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, continue to investigate both incidents.

(6 p.m. EDT) Due to the closing of Torgersen, Durham, and Whittemore halls as a result of a bomb threat, the locations of the following events scheduled this weekend in those buildings have been changed:

April 13, 2007, 3 p.m. EDT--Because of a bomb threat, Virginia Tech is immediately closing the following three buildings: Torgersen, Durham, and Whittemore halls.
Classes in these three buildings are cancelled for the remainder of the day.
The three buildings will remain closed until further notice.
Traffic will be restricted on campus roadways including the Alumni Mall.
Activities scheduled in these buildings for tonight and this weekend will be rescheduled. Go to www.vt.edu for further information.
All faculty, staff, administrators, and graduate students who work in Torgersen, Durham, and Whittemore halls are asked to immediately report to the Burruss Hall Auditorium for further information.
Blacksburg Transit will also be rescheduled. Look for further information.

* The Wittgenstein Conference scheduled for 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Saturday has been moved from 1000 Torgersen Hall to 110 Holden Hall.

On CNN, a young woman student just said she was in the dorm when the shooting began. She said a lockdown was called and then a short while later, the school lifted the lockdown and declared all-clear.
After the lockdown was lifted, the second shooting occurred across campus.
So why was the first lockdown rescinded? Was someone in custody other than the person who later shot up the computer lab?
