The focus here on these professors by the gunman brings to mind the shooting at University of Iowa, referred to as the Gang Lu Massacre, where a Chinese graduate student killed five and then himself, with two of his victims involved in sensitive research of interest to China.

I heard something on Bill Bennett’s show this morning about one of the professors being a holocaust survivor. Do you know if there is any info on here about him? Is he on your list? The one name sounded like it could’ve been the guy. I want to know more about him. I just cried when I heard. I heard he was a hero.

I heard on the news that Liviu Librescu held the doors to his classroom closed, despite the gunman shooting into them, so that his students could escape out a window. Holocaust survivor, great man.
