I think it was either CNN or Fox on XM radio sometime this afternoon - could have read it somewhere.
Anyway, there are a variety of pics of cuffed (not "arrested", there's a difference) asian men outside the building floating around.
And it wasn't random, it was anyone that remotely matched the description of the shooter.
Juiced up cops, hyped-up media, if I were an "Asian guy" I'd lock myself in the basement for a day or so.
The picture that shows an asian man face down in the grass handcuffed by authorities was of a photographer for the campus newspaper. The police who held him were pretty much doing their job because 1) he matched the very vague description that was circulating of the shooter as a tall asian male, 2) he was hanging around near the crime scene when most students were trying to get away from it, 3) he had equipment in his hand.
He was released quickly once his identity was established.
