There was a cell phone video that recorded the shots and it was from a “student” named Jamal Barghouti. At first, I thought he was the cornered perp. I’m fairly certain of the name.

The ability of FReepers to hunt down facts never ceases to amaze me :^)
I just looked it up on CNN and they have his name. It’s Jamal Albarghouti. As he told Blitzer, he is Palestian and he was spent much of his youth in Saudi.
Might be a simple coincidence, but since Blitzer said his family was famous, the two “famous” Al Barghoutis (that’s how they spell it in the ME) are Marwan, who was head of Fatah and leader of some intifadas, and Mustafa, who is a Palestian politician. I wonder what his connection to them is, if any. He sure was in the right place at the right time to snap that video.
