AP, I’ve been worried about you. Sorry that the news is growing worse by the hour. Thanking God that you are okay. May the Lord somehow bring a measure of comfort to those affected by this heinous act.
I walked on campus while my son was at Scouts tonight. It was so empty. It was like a reverent silence. God informed me during the walk that evil exists in this world but not in the next. I’m not even sure I know what that means.
We had a beautiful sunset tonight. One of the best I have seen. There is light that permeates the darkness. Maybe we got a glimpse of Heaven to remind us of our true home.
One of my Emmaus buddies called. We held the Walk this past weekend(I was a table leader) and some of us work on campus. Everyone is fine. It was good to hear from him after spending the weekend with him. I think we all wanted to just run back to the camp and stay.
