I hope parents of students and alumni begin calling for his head and SOON!
I’ll tell you another thing I found very odd. The only person that showed any emotion was the police chief. The Pres and VP of the University and the students interviewed on camera were way too calm. I realize the students might just be in shock, but still, the guy was so non-plussed.
The guy has to say something, it’s his college. He’s in shock, 32 kids were just murdered. It’s not his fault, he shouldn’t lose his job just because some crazy person decided to kill dozens of people.
If an investigation reveals true incompetence, I’ll be happy to consider the facts as they are known. But for freepers to be calling for firings, or blaming the tech security or communication for what is something that was “shocking” because it was largely unimaginable (for no good reason, just because we don’t want to imagine it), is an emotional reaction I hope and not one of true reason.
